The best ways to contact us
Please note that the rescue is staffed entirely by volunteers.
We simply cannot be on site and available to the public 24/7
No callers at the Registered address except by arrangement.
There may be nobody available to open the gate, or you could interrupt urgent treatment.
If you find a hedgehog in need of help
If you are in our area and find a hedgehog in need of urgent help ring Irene
If she is unavailable, then Do Not Delay - contact another Rescue in the area or take the hedgehog straight to a veterinary practice.
(My Pets Vets on Moss Industrial Estate, Lowton WN7 3GP are open 24 hrs and will accept hedgehogs for triage before passing onto Irene.)

If you want general advice about hedgehogs and how you can help them, then post your query in our Facebook Group where one of our Group Experts will respond to you as soon as possible.
Please do not post for ‘Urgent’ advice as Admin/Experts may not see it quickly and we always ask that you telephone and speak on the phone rather than using social media.
If you want to enquire about our Educational Outreach availability
- If you would like to arrange for one of our experts to give a presentation to a school, charity, community group, youth group or any other organisation
