Our mission is to provide for the rescue, rehabilitation and release of sick, injured or orphaned hedgehogs
On-site training is provided to volunteers, and they are encouraged to enrol on recognised wildlife courses.
Advice and assistance is available directly to any member of the public who finds a sick or injured hedgehog, and we work closely with local veterinary practices to provide follow-up care.
Talks are given to adult and children's groups/organisations to raise awareness of the needs of hedgehogs and the work of the Rescue, and public events are attended to engage with a wider audience
